Students started the class with a short quiz on conjugating the verb FAIRE and JOUER in the present tense. this is review from last year. As we are building on prior knowledge, it is imperative that this is solid as we move forward.
Due to some missed classes ( I attended a funeral and was also out for PD), 802 is slightly behind 801, we put our FORTUNE TELLERS on hold for today's class.
802 students looked at a PowerPoint ( attached below) to learn how to use a/au with the verb JOUER and how to use du, de la and del' with the verb FAIRE. We discussed the grammar rules and looked at a number of examples in class. Students are encouraged to review the PowerPoint ( Look for Bart Simpson) and examples at home.
* Note: when written homework is not assigned, students are always expected to review notes in duo-tangs, as posted on my blog and to use any practice links that have been posted. Students are also encouraged to peek around the links from other grades as a way to review previously learned vocabulary, grammar notes, conjugation, etc.
Review, study and memorize REgular ER verb conjugations "JOUER" and "FAIRE" Especially if you were unprepared for today's quiz and do not yet
