REMINDER: There is an expectation that if you miss class due to sickness, appointments or activities, that you are responsible to check my website for what was missed. Summaries of what was covered can be found here as well as any documents, handouts, readings, Powerpoint Presentations, videoclips or songs that were looked at in class. Furthermore, it is important that you catch-up on the readings or work missed so that you are prepared to continue with the rest of the class upon your return. Please make it a priority to check the website of ALL of your teachers when you have missed any time from class.

After Reading Logs we re-visited "CLIFFHANGER" by Dilys Winn and used the CHARTING SENSE DATA graphic organizer to chart the examples of sense data found in the poem. This chart was generated by the participation of the students, your classmates.
When we completed our Sense Data chart we read another poem "After Apple-Picking" by Robert Frost. When we continue in class on Thursday, we will look at a list of words from the poem to unpack some new vocabulary. A few examples of Sense data within the poem wiill be given and you will then be asked to chart the sense data fro "After Apple-Picking" individually. AFter I give you some time to work at this, you will Think-Pair-Share or come together as a class to review your responses.
Looking ahead to Friday - It is my hope that we finish charting the sense data for "After Apple-Picking" so that we might enjoy some spooky stories and get into the spirit of Hallowe'en.
