This morning we talked about being prepared, organized and responsible. MANY students are coming to class without their pencils, duo-tangs, work, etc. and are making trips out of class. In our discussions students have also said that many of them are not doing homework, reviewing notes or studying. I will do my utmost to reinforce the importance of being organized, prepared and responsible and ask those at home to support me in this effort. We will get there, but it will take practice to make progress.
Students did a practice exercise sheet using the conjugations we have learned for the verb FAIRE over the past few weeks. At this point, students should have memorized the following present tense forms of FAIRE:
The practice worksheet we did and reviewed can be found, below.
Students looked at a PowerPoint on how to use JOUER and FAIRE in complete sentences using a/au, du, de la and de l'
Students are asked to review the PowerPoint and Rules for when to use the above:
a - Jouer with a feminine sport or activity
au - Jouer with a masculine sport or activity
du - Faire with a masculine activity
de la - Faire with a feminine activity
de l' = Faire with an activity that starts with a vowel.
