A) Oral presentations were completed.
B) Students started writing in their writing journals.
* Note: Quite a few students have to focus on settling down and using class time to follow instructions and work. It is important that time is used effectively and that student disruptions not get in the way of teaching, learning and working in class.
A) In yesterday's class the students JUST got started on their Writing Journal entry. Today, students worked on completing their first entry in their writing journal.
B) Upon completion of the writing journal entry, students had a choice to starting to write a second entry OR silent reading ( library book or french book from home)
* Note: Students are expected to ALWAYS bring the following to class:
- French-English Pocket Dictionary
- Book ( french) for silent reading during homeroom, upon completing work and for class work( Reading is one of the four main outcomes of FLA)
Merci et bon week-end!
If you have not yet procured( or bought) a French-English dictionary, please have one with you on Monday. These can often be obtained from older siblings, cousins and friends who no longer need them ( as well as used book stores).
