We started the class by watching two short videos about " Why Learn French?" One was in French and the other, in English. Some serious and not so serious reasons to think about why one might learn French as a second language.
Students should have had more independent work time but I had to talk to students about behavior and disruption. Some still continued to disrupt even after a point was made about being disruptive. A check-list will be implemented starting Tuesday. Those not working or behaving in a way that goes against class code of expectations will have consequences that may impact sports activities and intramural participation.
The remainder of class was spent working on rough copies of comic strips.
Step 1) Selecting and conjugating verbs individuals 12-15 verb statements partners 24-30
Step 2) Writing a rough draft of the script/dialogue for comic strip
Rough copy sheet and verb conjugation planning sheet ( steps 1 and 2 as seen above) are due Tuesday October 20th.
